Covid19 – Health and safety at Midsummer House

Dear guest, we are looking forward to welcoming you at Midsummer House.

In order for us to guarantee government guidelines, we urge you to adhere strictly to your allocated time and try not to be early or late to avoid unnecessary queuing. We will be sitting one table at a time.

As per government guidelines you are now required to wear a mask when walking to and from your table and we do require the premises to be vacated by 10pm an all dinner reservations.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we kindly ask you to sanitise hands with provided hand sanitisers and confirm that you are not experiencing any COVID19 symptoms. We will take the liberty to check our guest’s temperature. If we notice a high temperature it may result in the reservation being cancelled. Our reception team will contact you the next day to reschedule.

We want to assure you that Midsummer House is taking specific measures to ensure the safety of all our guests and staff; we are taking precautionary measures in addition to procedures that already are in place.

Our restaurant is a Victorian house and therefore it has small areas, staircase and entrance. We kindly ask you to follow a one way system throughout the premises at all times when not sitting at your table. You are welcome to wear face coverings if you prefer.

As always, our restaurant maintains the highest possible level of hygiene and is cleaned regularly and with sanitisers. Hand sanitisers are placed in multiple location of the restaurant, so please feel free to make use of this during your time with us.

Our washroom facilities will be open but you must use hand sanitiser before entering; hand sanitiser is provided outside our washrooms. If there is a queue, please join it in our private dining room and stand at least 1m apart until you can safely enter.

Our team has been fully briefed with current government requirements and are undertaking extreme levels of health and safety procedures to ensure that guests and other staff members are safe. We have reduced the number of tables in our restaurants to maximise space around diners and minimise close contact where possible.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
